Which data we process

Through the inquiry form: your name, business name, email address, industry and trade, your current website if you enter it, your choices about the project, budget and start date, and anything you tell us about your project.

If you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.

We do not ask for your phone number, address or any sensitive data. Please leave those out of the free text field too.

What we use it for

We use your data to respond to your request, schedule a conversation and prepare a quote. We do this because you ask us to, before any agreement exists (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you become a client, we use your data to carry out the work and for our accounts, which we are required by law to keep.

We do not send you newsletters or advertising, we do not sell your data and we make no automated decisions about you.

Who else processes your data

Formspree (Formspree, Inc.) receives the inquiry form and forwards your request to our mailbox. A copy stays in our Formspree account.

Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) hosts this website. In doing so it processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver the page and protect it against abuse.

Both companies are based in the United States. They only process your data on our behalf, under a data processing agreement. Transfers outside the European Union are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If your request does not lead to an assignment, we delete your data no later than 12 months after our last contact.

If you become a client, we keep the data that belongs in our accounts, such as quotes and invoices, for 7 years. That is the statutory retention period.

Cookies and statistics

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. If you choose dark mode, your own browser remembers that choice. The setting is not sent to us.

The font is hosted on our own website, so no data goes to an external font service.

Security

The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only we have access to the accounts and the mailbox where inquiries arrive.

Your rights

You may view, correct or delete your data. You can also object to its use, have its use restricted or request your data in a common file format. Email us to do so; we respond within one month.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. We would rather hear from you first, so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change this statement, the date at the top will show it.
